Sylvain Chevassus, international policy officer of the Ministry of Environment Sustainable Development and Energy of France, will give a presentation on global trends on water footprint including EU’s move to integrate environmental footprint and measures to reinforce the global environmental regulations and responses thereof.

In addition, participants will share best practices on eco-labeling of domestic companies such as KCC and Hyundai Motor Company and seek ways to enhance Korean companies’ competitiveness in the global environmental market.

“We will provide a strong support for Korea’s advanced eco-labeling system and eco-labeled system to make their way to the global stage,” said Kim Sung-ju, Director General of Environmental Technology Development Department, KEITI.
